A psalm flows from the relationship between the LORD and his children, as a song expressing anything from inexplicable joy to deep sorrow. The Psalms of the Bible are raw and true, always recognizing the King while sometimes even boldly contending with him. For such a God as him to allow us, as lowly as we are, to sing to him is an incredible grace.
As a follower of Jesus, I owe everything to the one who redeemed me from death. Yet, I struggle to meet with him daily. So this site is my challenge to prioritize time with him in his Word. In 2018 I will be throughout the book, but here I want to respond to each of the 150 psalms in my own words, in poetry or song, out of worship and adoration.
Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the LORD! For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise! (Ps 102:18 and 47:7)
